Implementation of an Institutional Model for the Ethical Use of AI in Distance High School
Main Article Content
Abstract
The integration of generative artificial intelligence in distance upper secondary education raises challenges related to authorship, traceability, and academic validation. In response, the Universidad Virtual del Estado de Guanajuato developed and implemented an institutional model for the ethical use of AI in content design. The model articulates principles of human authorship, transparency, and specialized validation, together with mandatory disclosure and centralized editorial verification. Its implementation standardized processes and strengthened academic integrity, offering a replicable experience for online upper secondary education.
