A Successful Experience: Hybrid Baccalaureate Model (B@UNAM).
Main Article Content
Abstract
In October 2015 the first baccalaureate generation in Mexico City under a hybrid model —combining face-to-face and online courses— graduated. In this paper, we share the experience of this novel alternative, developed by the UNAM, and operated as a pilot, in collaboration with the Mexico City Ministry of Education (SEDU) in the famous neighborhood of Tepito in Mexico City, with highly satisfactory results. For this, we present an approach to the concept of hybrid education, a synthesis of the context in which it was carried out, features of the Model, experience in its implementation, as well as its results and impact.
