Abstract

The goal of this project was to identify the dominant educational style in adolescents of nuclear families. To achieve this objective we used an instrument comprising 63 items, which is divided in two parts. The first component of the instrument comprises 40 items that evaluate the perception children have about their parents, whereas the second component, which has 23 items, evaluates the self perceptions of the participants. This instrument was administered at the "CBT Lic. Mario Colin Sanchez" institution. This is located in Atlacomulco, Mexico, and the are students in the second semester of the middle-superior level. This will allow a reference to psychologists so they can know the problems originated due the lack of excess of control, affectivity or communication, characteristics that evaluate both the subject as well as the family.
