Discriminación de drogas: Aportación de la psicoogía experimental a las neurociencias
Main Article Content
Abstract
Most pf psychotropic drugs produce powerful interoceptive stimuli which are distinct from one other. Drug discrimination procedures use these interoceptive stimuli as cues for training a specific behavioral response. Although discrimination procedures arose from experimental psycholohgy in curreny time these procedures are important behavioral tools in neuroscience for studying in vivo the neurobiology of addictive drugs, for classifying and characterizing new drugs with an addictive potentialand for screening new drugs.
