Abstract

Mourning is a process that destabilizes families, however difficult it may seem to recover; there are ways that can contribute in restoring the system. The use ofrituals was basic in therapeutic dealing of in mourning for a family and that allowed them to rescue aspects that joined the members and clarified the individual work to do. Joined to this, the therapeutic techniques employed encouraged different attitudes in the members, which reflected changes that favored the family in its recovery.
