Abstract

This research refers to the assessment of the paternal role in family dynamics from the current boys between 20 and 35 years of age from middle-class families in the city of Tepic Nayarit. From a qualitative approach explores how this relationship is experienced by them, or have any relevance in the lives of children and yet the role of father figure. The research topic is influenced by changes in recent decades about the social roles assigned to both sexes, and by a preponderance that this change is having on the new distribution of parenting responsibilities (Yárnoz, 2006).
