Abstract

This article offers a reflection on the concept: ideology, in its political dimension, in the proper field of politics, as the form of appearance (ontic) on certain established social order (ontological).With this aim, takes the perspective of Teun Van Dijk focused on the cognitive dimension of ideology, as axiomatic basis of belief systems; the contributions of Ernesto Laclau about operations incarnation and condensation games signifiers and meanings; and contributions of Gerardo Aboy Carles on the specific features of political identities.
