2013. Conditions for retirement and the challenge of longevity in Mexico

Abstract

In the frame of the new Jurisprudencia 85-2010, dictated by the mexican Supreme Court, the article stand out four groups of big evidence about the precarious retirement conditions that take place in IMSS, ISSSTE and SSA. With the revision of the ISS-FAM reforms 2008-2011,the article concludes with an analysis of the proposal Enrique Peña Nieto electoral campaign in order to create a universal social security system and the presence of a regressive New Federal Labour Law.
