Approach to a socio-political theory of passions and feelings: the comuner@s of Milpa Alta, D.F., seen from the perspective of "Sentiments of the Nation"
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article presents in words of the author, the case of the Milpa Alta common, Malacachtepec Momozco so called in the old days, uprising against the violence launched by the porfirista style of privatizing modernization which stirred up defensive political sentiments. Ancestral doctrines namely tequio, manovuelta and ipalnemohuani inspired the commoners resistance against a mercantile model which, neither yesterday nor today, offers a guarantee to the true development of the native peoples of Mesoamerica. The text The Nations Sentiments, written by Don José María Morelos, inspires the reflection on the dialectical unity of reason-political sentiments.
