La vicepresidencia en México
Main Article Content
Abstract
The constitutions that existed during the XIX century in Mexico established the vice- presidency, but the deficient constitutional design and the constant political instability confronted the vicepresident with the president. For the XX century the constitution of 1917 did not establish a vice-presidency. In its place there existed a dominant president where the executive title holder designated all the positions, although there was the need to establish them. But today, when there is not a majority of a single political party in the Congress of the Union, to give the faculty to designate the executive title holder when be absent, as establishes in the constitutional articles 83 and 84, would bring severe consequences.
