Abstract

Racial discrimination is one of the many ways of discrimination that subsist within democratic states,therefore, the necessity of a critique against constitutionalism’s rhetoric, through which the concealingof racial discrimination is attempted, with the interest of maintaining unequal social relations upheldthrough domination / subordination. This short essay centers in the political philosophy of Montesquieuand Voltaire in order to reveal the illustrated roots of such form of discrimination.
