Abstract

The implementation of the National Security Doctrine in Colombia bye the United States has brought upon as some of its effects the criminalization of society and an tendency toward a forced ideological standardization. Without a doubt, this has allowed the appearance of repressive criminal law systems that act according to he hegemonic patterns imposed by the United States, the militarization of Colombia is one of its effects. This last thing has been carried out under arguments that say this militarization is part of a antidrug and antiguerrilla war plan. Nevertheless, this papers argues that all this actions are part of a antiinsurgent strategy that has as its objective the elimination of politic dissidence in Colombia, all of this without having to resort to dialogue nor consensus. All of this is considered as part of a repressive social control model of capitalism, which is masked by the resorting to the application of a Law that only serves to legitimate such model. To this model of social control an horizontal society, capable of non-repressive models of social control, must be opposed.
