A definition of emotion is presented, taking into account the analysis of the factors that are integrated in it, such as cognition, which is an essential part in its understanding, with that purpose a review of studies related to emotion was carried out. And it is concluded by highlighting the implications that all this has in a context in which moral emotions are associated with the weight condition, especially with obesity.
