Eating behavior in COVID-19

Abstract

In Mexico, overweight and obesity affect the entire population in general, there is no distinction between children, adolescents, adults or the elderly. In view of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, healthy eating at home has become a priority in order to maintain good health and physical activity as well as a strong immune system. Therefore, in this article a review of the recommendations made in different scientific articles about the COVID-19 health situation and how dietary behavior can influence the health of people to better cope with the SARS-CoV-2 virus disease was carried out. For this purpose, a review of some of the information bulletins of the main health and food organizations worldwide was carried out.
