Abstract

At present the prevalence of obesity has been increasing world population, considering it as a public health problem and that not only generates cost high health, but also a cost in the quality of life of the population (Guerrero, 2010). And in recent years it has been noted that the university population is also being affected and that the factors that are related to obesity revolve around lifestyle, self-concept, emotions and emotional disorders that may arise (Ríos and Rodríguez, 2017). The importance of considering these habits in young populations is because in most cases they remain in adulthood, which is why this population is key to implementing health promotion and prevention (Sánchez and De Luna, 2015).
