The aesthetic experience, a Kantian perspective
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article starts with a preamble to the etymology of the term “aesthetic” and then points out a definition as a philosophical discipline. Likewise, an analysis is done of the aesthetic experience from the perspective of the philosopher Immanuel Kant. It examines the judgment of taste, which lets us establish the aesthetic experience in a different area to that of morality, epistemic, and what it has practical value. Finally, it explains the possibility of communicating and generalizing the judgment of taste, despite its subjective approach.
