Abstract
In this article, some elements of the music of North India are explored, to contrast them with the Western cultural and auditory perception in which anthropological and musical elements are found that allow us to approach the art of non-Western societies. The question that guides this text is, what is the ritual of listening to the music of North India, a country characterized by a deep spirituality?
