Abstract
Adopted unanimously in November 1979, the International Commission of Experts in The Field of Communication of UNESCO publicly released a document entitled:”Voices Multi/Single world. Communication and information of Our Time”, witch became the decade eighties in the text lead the global debate on the New International Information Oden (NOII) And locally on the Regulation of Information Law. Likewise, the MacBride report in Mexico is tied to various social movements led by journalists, media professionals and academics who fought for greater transparency in governmente actions, as well as access to all sectors of society to the mainstream media, organized in the Permanent Forum on Mass Communication. Has been 25 years that the Macbride report was the cornerstone of the battle for the democratization of information, and a conclusion is obvious.
