Abstract

Likewise, the MacBride report in Mexico is tied to various social movements led by journalists, media professionals and academics who fought for greater transparency in governmente actions, as well as access to all sectors of society to the mainstream media, organized in the Permanent Forum on Mass Communication. Has been 25 years that the Macbride report was the cornerstone of the battle for the democratization of information, and a conclusion is obvious.
