Resumen

This paper tries to contribute a general perspective of the main setbacks which, acknowledge and research of the Indigenous Tradition Historiography, face in academic media as a field of relevant historiographic study which in search for theoretical and methodological reflection about the history of historiography and hence its relevance both to the teaching and diffusion of historiographic studies.
