The use of recent history to counteract panegyrics and invective

Resumen
There is no doubt that the teaching of history expresses values and functions that the school diffuses in a concrete social and historical context, which particularly endorses certain political and economic interests. Therefore, the following article in given to the task of proposing an intermediate didactic that is a counterweight between “official history” and “demystifying history”; achieving it from the use of recent history in which students will be aware that social facts can be interpreted in very different ways, having to be aware that there are no absolute truths, that there are no “good” or “bad”; rather one must know the historical discipline from the individual and the collective, offering the student a form of critical thinking that allows him to understand a little more the world around him
