Abstract

The epistemology of History lacks nowadays a scientific and methological approach, where understanding is more relevant than memorizing, and discovering more important than accepting absolute truths. Thus, the student by analyzing, interpreting, and understanding a historical text, will perceive its relationship with his everyday life. Direct contact with historical sources will be crucial in this process.
