TEACHING EXPERIENCES IN VIRTUAL EDUCATION: A REFLECTION ON THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF PLATFORM-MEDIATED EDUCATION AT THE CCH
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article reflects on the advantages and disadvantages of education mediated by educational platforms. It responds to covid-19 and its imminent use in the context of a “new normality” following the end of the lockdown. It starts with a description of aspects of the sudden change from physical school to virtual space, in a context that had never been considered, where teachers were forced to turn to whatever they could use.
Next, we analyze the learning process that teachers experienced throughout the pandemic and how the situation led them to propose new ways of working and interacting, both among teachers and with students. Finally, we reflect on the experience of the teachers throughout the confinement, considering both the positive aspects and the problems distance learning has involved, to propose ways to apply the experience acquired following lockdown. The work is based on a review of sources and a survey applied among cch teachers.
