The comes and goes of Social Work Intervention

Abstract

The article argues for the need to build a body of knowledge around the concept of Social Work, in particular, on social intervention as the basic axis of its praxis. To contribute to social well-being is not enough to understand the specific problems and praxis of the discipline. A problematic situation and the strategy of intervention should be conceived as an integral specific process which cannot be substituted by unrelated actions.
