La revolución verde, tragedia en dos actos

Abstract

Both the green revolution launched in the 1950´s and the new green revolution in the 1990´s, which combines biotechnology with genetic enenieering, were inspired by the ideologized mission of eliminating hunger in the world. If we examine the consequences and the achievements of the frist green revolution to date, we can get a good idea of some effects the new revolution may produce in our society and in out environment.
