Abstract

THIS WORK TELLS US THE DIDACTIC WAY OF TEACHING SINCE 1986 IN THE SUBJECT CALLED "HISTORY OF ARGENTINE MUSIC", FOR IMPROVING THE ACHIEVEMENT ON STUDENTS. THESE, DURING 2002 YEAR, ON THE CRISIS THAT ARGENTINA WENT THROUGH, WERE DEDICATED FOR GETTING A STRONG NATIONALIST FEELING ON STUDENTS, GETTING THERE FORM CREATIVE EXPERIENCES WHICH COULD "BUILD BRIDGES" BETWEEN PRACTICAL AND TEORICAL SUBJECTS, AND COULD BE PART OF THE PROCESS OF GROWING UP AS MUSICIANS, PERFORMERS AND REFLEXIVE TEACHERS, GETTING FAR FROM THE DISCUSSIONS OF THE OLD OPPOSITION ON THE TEACHING OF "MUSICIANS VS. MUSIC TEACHERS". FINALLY, ALTHOUGH THE CONCLUSIONS OF THIS WORK ARE NOT SIGNIFICATIVE, FROM THE STATISTICAL POINT OF VIEW, IT CAN BE APPLIED IN OTHER SUBJECTS OF EDUCATION, AND THE MUSICAL HISTORY OF EACH COUNTRY IS A VALUABLE HELP IN THE TRAINING OF MUSIC PROFESSIONALS WHO HAVE BEEN STRONGLY UP BRINGED.
