Abstract
THE FLORA OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF EDUARDO NERI, GUERRERO, MEXICO IS ANALYZED. IT COMPRISES 1342 SPECIES AND 566 GENERA IN 134 FAMILIES. TWO TYPES OF VEGETATION WERE FOUND: TROPICAL DECIDUOUS FOREST AND OAK FOREST, BEING THE FORMER THE MOST DIVERSE AND MAJOR IN DISTRIBUTION. CONSIDERING THE NUMBER OF SPECIES, THE FAMILIES COMPOSITAE, LEGUMINOSAE, GRAMINEAE AND EUPHORBIACEAE ARE THE MOST REPRESENTATIVE. TWENTY NINE SPECIES, ALL ENDEMIC TO THE STATE OF GUERRERO, WERE RECORDED IN THE AREA.
