Main Article Content
Abstract
The Veracruzano Reef System National Park (VRSNP) is in the central area of the Gulf of Mexico. Studies report that there is a significant number of sources of contamination that affect the VRSNP. The objective of this study was to identify, classify and geopositioned the sources of pollution, point and non-point in the north season, which discharge along the beach area of the port of Veracruz and Boca del Río, adjacent to the VRSNP polygon. The results show seven delimited areas, where 88 storm drains were recorded, 50 drains with the presence of wastewater discharge and four drains with the presence of unidentified discharge.
