Abstract

Objective: To determine the prevalence of dyslipidemia and cardiovascular risk (cvr) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (dm2). Methods: cross-sectional and analytical study, the assessed data were from 875 patients enrolled to the Family Medicine Unit (fmu) No. 31 of the IMSS in Mexico City during the month of July 2017. Patients with dm2 were included. Biochemical and anthropometric parameters were analyzed to obtain the prevalence of lipid alterations and cvr.
