Methods: quasi-experimental, non-blind, prospective longitudinal study based on an educational strategy of 20 patients (non-randomized sample), of the no. 7 fmu, with a diagnosis of non-organic insomnia to assess the improvement of insomnia after a sleep educational hygiene strategy. Results: a decrease in the degree of insomnia appeared, with the following percentages: 0% severe insomnia, 20% moderate insomnia, 55% subclinical insomnia and 25% absence of insomnia.
