Abstract
The excesses of the human being with his promethean ways of producing and consuming have unleashed an anthropogenic disease on the planet,” writes the Peruvian philosopher Edgar Montiel. And he adds: “Today, the logic of the blind market leads us to the breakdown of the essential harmony between society, economy and nature, serious problem for human consumption, sustainable economy, and institutions, including the United Nations.” The reflections that the author presents in this article were prompted by the COP 21 meeting held in Paris last December.
