Abstract
The historians Ivan Molina and Steven Palmer have published the research report entitled Imperial Health and Popular Education. The Rockefeller Foundation of Costa Rica as seen from a Central American perspective. 1914-1921, who has been reviewed by the Costa Rican journalist Roxana Grillo. According to the authors, in spite of affecting Costa Rican sovereignty, the support of this US entity in fighting the parasite causing the anquilostomiasis sickness, popularly known as "tiredness", reinforced the Costa Rican State and supplied resources which deepened the sense of nationality among rural people
