Main Article Content
Abstract
To comply with Nicolás Guillén's desire, expressed more than two decades ago, to compile a new anthology in Cuba of the poems that were written in the Spanish Civil War by recognized poets as well as by anonymous ministrels of the militia, as homage to the Republican combatants, the Cuban poet Waldo Leyva recently published La Espiga derramada.
