Proposal for affordable housing for hurricane Otis victims in Acapulco

Abstract
The passage of hurricane Otis along the coasts of Guerrero left serious damage in the cities of Acapulco and Coyuca de Benítez, in particular; almost all the houses in both cities suffered some kind of damage, which in many cases represented a total loss of the property. The lessons to be learned are many and cover many areas; regarding housing, the immediate concern is to rebuild in the best possible way and with available resources. The objective of this paper is to provide economic proposals of progressive growth that adapt to the economy of its inhabitants, and also provide security against earthquakes and hurricanes, the most common natural phenomena in the region. To this end, a proposal is put forward that, in addition to the abovementioned safety aspects, provides spaces with thermal comfort and adequate habitability.
