Urban agriculture: A route towards a culture of well-being and sustainability
Main Article Content
Abstract
Urban agriculture is the activity of growing and harvesting food in the city, to ensure the supply of its population: what in past centuries was common practice in the surroundings of human settlements is now a new trend for urban sustainability. The world is currently facing an environmental crisis due to the size of cities and their impact on the planet, and one of the many repercussions of this is unsustainable agriculture, which makes a commendable effort to feed an infinite legion of people who know little about the countryside and the benefits thereof, with regard to people's mental health and wellbeing.
