What have we learned or rather what we should have learned from the covid-19 pandemy?

Abstract
This article presents a reading of the lessons to be learned, or those that should have be learned, from the Covid-19 pandemic. The argument is that the future cannot be predicted. Thus, the reasoning is that the combination of austerity, and panic led to the collapse of many economies and societies.
