The economy of John Kenneth Galbraith: A personal vision in three parts

Abstract
The objective is to make a historical, biographical and analytical reading of the main contributions of John K Galbraith, an economist of his time. He inquires about the most important influences that his work was shown, as well as the major contributions that his work has represented for the construction of more stable capitalist development models. It is argued that although an academic space for the development of Galbraith's thought can not be located, its influence on the development of countries such as Germany, Japan or China has been very powerful. Although It stops being in the United States mainly due to the rise of oligarchic financial power since the seventies.
