Abstract

It analyzes the mechanisms and agents that fight greedily for metals and minerals and the accumulation of capital in that sector, which has changed the mining of the past by one on a world scale. The growing domination of this sector by financial capital has been intensifying the expansion of projects aimed at the control, extraction and export of mineral resources, mainly precious metals. Global mining has increased exponentially, accompanied by concentration in the production of minerals, at the country level, products and companies.
