The international economy of indebtedness: Financial domination and the continuation of the crisis

Abstract

This article deals with some of several of the deep determinants of the exhaustion of economic growth. The evolution of the global economy and the effects of economic policy are both closely examined, and economic dynamics are analyzed through the perspective of their connection with liberalization and economic and financial deregulation. These elements, together with transformations in balance of payments, allow for a characterization of the international economy as one of indebtedness.
