Atenuación natural en suelos contaminados con hidrocarburos

Abstract

A CONTAMINATED SOIL EXPERIMENT WAS PERFORMED USING SAMPLES FROM A REFINERY, CONTAINING OIL DERIVATE HYDROCARBONS, SPECIFICALLY THOSE WITH HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF POLYAROMATHIC HYDROCARBONS (PAH). THE TESTING CONSISTED IN 7 PANS WITH 7 KG OF SOIL, THE PREPARATION OF 6 PANS UNDERSPECIFIC CONDITIONS AND ONE AS A BLANK, THE CONDITIONS WERE: WATER CONTENT (15 Y 30%), ADDITION OF NUTRIENTS (N&P) AND ADDITION A NON-IONIC SURFACTANT. THE PROCESS CONSISTED IN THE DAILY AERATION AND WATER CONTROL OF THE SAMPLES. THE PAH WERE ANALYZED: ANTHRACENE, BENZO(A)PYRENE, CHRYSENE, PHENANTHRENE AND NAPHTHALENE. THE RESULTS AFTER 8 WEEKS SHOWED A GRADUALDEGRADATION OF PAH, INDICATING A BETTER REMOVAL OBTAINED WHEN THE WATER CONTENT WAS 30% WITH NUTRIENTS ADDITION.
