The care provided by nursing is based mainly on the nurse-patient relationship, this care includes comprehensive care where nursing knowledge is put into practice to improve health. Palliative care can be conceptualized and described which is the characteristic of this type of care and how it should be an adequate care that generates a dignified treatment to the user.

Based on the patterns of knowledge that Barbara Carper mentions, in this document we can perform the exercise that allows us to identify, know and critically analyze this type of situations, in order to improve and provide quality care and in a humanized way to people.
2025-03-25T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2024 CuidArte Journal https://journals.unam.mx/index.php/cuidarte/article/view/89065 Impacto de la procrastinación académica en estudiantes de Enfermería 2024-06-26T13:18:23-05:00 Abraham Alonso-Ricardez abraham_alonso@iztacala.unam.mx Javier Alonso-Trujillo alonsot1212@yahoo.com.mx Myrna Miriam Valera-Mota valeramota@gmail.com Elí Orlando Lozano-González eli.orlando.lozano@iztacala.unam.mx
Introduction. Academic procrastination is act of delaying completion of academic activities and these could be postponed until last minute. Academic procrastination is associated with inefficient learning strategies and poor academic performance. Distraction on social networks has become a factor that promotes procrastination. Teachers' decisions could be associated with procrastinating events without this being their intention, for example, granting extended deadlines for the delivery of assignments, as occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. Objective: To analyze impact that academic procrastination has on learning of topics related to Statistics in university Nursing students. Methodology: Observational, cross-sectional, prospective and comparative analytical study. Two groups of students participated; Group A (n=26), Group B (n=25). An academic activity of the program was implemented and a questionnaire was requested to be submitted. Group A was given a period of 5820 minutes to submit the questionnaire. To group B 780 minutes. Results: Group A obtained a learning grade of 6.4 (95% CI; 5.9 to 6.8), while group B obtained 7.7 (95% CI; 71. to 8.3). The statistical analysis showed significant differences (p=0.005). Conclusions. The students who had a shorter deadline to submit the questionnaire obtained better grades compared to the group that had a longer deadline, which could imply that long deadlines promote procrastination.
2025-03-25T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 CuidArte Journal https://journals.unam.mx/index.php/cuidarte/article/view/89190 El arte como cuidado enfermero de promoción del envejecimiento positivo en atención primaria 2024-07-23T10:06:55-05:00 Pedro Aguilar Machain p.aguilar@ugto.mx Raúl Fernando Guerrero-Castañeda drfernandocastaneda@hotmail.com Cinthia Elizabeth González-Soto gonzalez.ce@ugto.mx
Introduction. It is necessary to promote a nursing care approach that seeks to promote positive aging by including interventions and strategies to improve quality of life and maintain physical, cognitive and social health. In this sense, art can play a crucial role as it favors various spheres of the human being. The aim of this paper is to discuss how art as nursing care can promote successful and positive aging in primary care. Development. In the first level of health care for older adults, it is necessary to have a preventive and comprehensive health promotion approach that allows to understand the needs of attention and care by nursing, which are not always directed to physical deterioration and more often respond to emotional and social needs. Art is a strictly human resource that is beneficial in various areas of health, in the case of older adults, such as occupational therapy, cognitive stimulation strategy, alternative therapies and gamification; since it is a connection with personal history, it generates an artistic product and its spatio-temporal relationship during the creation process allowing the expression of the person. Conclusions. Art is a care strategy to approach aging from a positive and successful point of view, it should be taken up again as a beneficial nursing care strategy in older adults, its contribution in improving the quality of life is reflected in various areas of human existence.
2025-03-25T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 CuidArte Journal https://journals.unam.mx/index.php/cuidarte/article/view/88668 Currículum nulo en la profesión del cuidado. This essay explores 3 fundamental aspects that we consider influence the self-care deficit that occurs in the nursing professional; First, the approach to various health problems that the nursing professional experiences associated with their work environment and the act of caring itself, followed by the relationship that the theory of self-care deficit has in the development of care, the third is the association which has a null curriculum of the health professional's self-care deficit in the main health problems that nurses currently face and that lead to non-compliance with the objectives of the profession in the medium to long term. Conclusion: As a response to the aspects that academic training has an impact on the development of self-care deficit in nurses, the need for the creation, development and implementation of subjects focused on the management of self-care deficit in nursing professionals arises. . , which can be taught from the initial training level, even if these are initially only elective subjects.
2025-03-25T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 CuidArte Journal https://journals.unam.mx/index.php/cuidarte/article/view/88550 PAEFOCUSED ON PREVENTION AND HEALTH PROMOTION WITH A DISCHARGE PLAN IN PATIENTS WITH: HYPOTHYROIDISM AND HYPERTENSION. 2024-05-07T13:26:32-05:00 Mayra Del Carmen Ortega Jiménez autor@correo.com Andrés De la Torre Macias a.delatorremacias@ugto.mx Marcela Ortega Jiménez autor@correo.com María de Lourdes García Campos autor@correo.com
Hypothyroidism is a condition resulting from a decrease in the biological activity of thyroid hormones at the tissue level.
